The arc of the Sun
On rising, seen,
In the wave of flowers
Opening their arms
To receive the bounty.
…others,
In shadow of the arc
Closed still.

The arc of the Sun,
On setting, dusking,
Is seen, in the wave
Of flowers, closing,
As the Sun’s arc

Settles, on the other side
The flowers,
Tucking in petals,
Settling in,
For the night.

The arc of the Sun
Is seen in the wave
Of breathing flowers
Opening and closing
As the rays trace
Their ways
Across the days.

Flowers in the grass, some blooming yellow, other buds clutching the petals within, together both trace the arc of the sunshine.

Herein, there may be more verses, however, the tale is told today in this way, another way will be for another day.

A poem, blooms, this morning, taking root in the contemplation and observation of the garden over the course of a few days.  Filled with gratitude.

Love moves.

The flowers with the higher stems, catch the arc first and bloom bright yellow, the lower flowers in the shadow of the wall, clutch the petals tightly awaiting the arc of the sun to settle on them before blooming yellow.

Further back in the garden, where the arc has settled softly, the petals have stretched out in bright yellow to receive the rays, still settling upon them, as the warmth required is not deterred by cloud cover.
