Homage to Jasmine – Bee Prayers

Homage to Jasmine – Bee Prayers

Four forelegs fondle
The bud that’s not flowered
The stem, certain to hold
The source of the nectar
To feed the family

Four foreleg fondle
A pose of prayer
Flower the flower
For a harvest of pollen
That we might bake the nectar
In hexagon forges
To feed the family

Four forelegs fondle
Brought here by our dance
Directing and divining
Where the flower will flower
Oh, prize petal,
Feast on the sun, the air and the earth
We’ll sow your seed with
Flowers far afield

For a harvest of pollen
That we might bake the nectar
In hexagon forges
To feed the family

Four forelegs fondle
The bud, the stem.
Oh, Jasmine,
Flower your flower
That we can go
And grow
Together
